Involuntary Admissions & Findings of Incapacity

The Consent and Capacity Board (CCB) is an independent provincial tribunal, created under the Health Care Consent Act, that is mandated to conduct hearings and decide matters of capacity, consent, substitute decision making, and civil committal to a psychiatric facility.

At PooranLaw, we provide advice and representation to individuals who have been found incapable of making decisions about their property or personal care, including consenting to healthcare treatment. We also defend patients who have been involuntarily admitted to psychiatric facilities.
